The advantages of Rubberized diamond wire for Granite quarrying:
1) The rubber adheres better to the steel cable and the diamond beads, so that it can withstand the abrasive impact of terrible working condition during the quarrying, in particular when the wire takes up the cutting of smaller radius curvature.(like in the beginning and the end of the quarry cuts).
2) The rubber has good thermal endurance(temperature resistance) so it can withstand the increase temperature caused by badly controlled water spraying, which often happened in a quarry, like, could be worked with insufficient cooling water.
3)The wire fixed by rubber has strong flexibility, which could reduces the irregular wearing of the diamond beads( ovalization phenomenon) or cut in one side phenomenon.
4) Normally, 37-75kw wire saw machine are most used for granite quarry, water consumption could be controlled between 25-50L/min according to the cutting area. |
